| I think it should be legal to film pornos here. The
people in the films are all consenting adults. No children are involved in
any form shape or fashion. Pass a law to make production legal, have an
oversight comity that runs STD tests on the performers and charge
producers taxes/film permission fees. The adults get what they want and the county makes money.

| This is the "here's your sign" criminal award of
the decade!!!! In 80% of this country, making pornography is legal. But
Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties are not part of that 80%. Couldn't these
morons have set up shop in another area where they can get away with it
like Tampa for instance? I'll bet these retards are all democrats and will
use the ACLU for a platform to claim "FREE SPEECH"!!!! Good luck with that one.

| other than the illegal substances, which is
arguable, what harm was done? 90 years for filming sex acts? Glad college was a long time ago.

| Dead bodies are turning up every day, drugs are out of control, and this is all they had to do? I would like the prosecutor to swear under oath he has never watched porn. Give me a break! Move on to real crimes.... | |

| Skin Flicks | Tue Jul 31, 2007 1:35 am |
| Tony, Yes, I sort of agree with you. These were all consenting adults, not kids. And who among us has not seen a skin flick (aka porn)? If you haven't, you have lead a pretty sheltered life. (Man, am I going to get heat over that comment.) What is going to send them to prison is not the MAKING of porn, but the tax evasion, money laundering, prostitution, etc charges. Personally, I don't care what adults do to each other, and if they want to put it on film, go ahead. What amazes me though, is that they did it in almost public places. Wow! Talk about nerve. There are a lot of woodsy places out of the area they could have staged an orgy, guess that adds to the excitement of the moment. Porn has been around since recorded history . . . check it out. Pompeii is the classic example. Does anyone know where I can get copies of these movies? Maybe I know some of the participants . . . JUST KIDDING!! | |

| Why wasn't I invited to participate? Just kidding.
The fact is, they violated the law. It is not legal to make porn in Escambia or Santa Rosa County. It is legal in 80% of this country. They should have made their movies and millions where it is legal. Simple. They should get 60 years for being stupid. Oops. I didn't mean to scare you, dreamsofcommunism. Just joking.

| Porn | Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:13 am |
| Porn, the multi million dollar industry that NO ONE
USES... eta: Just take a ride down Jackson Street near Mr B's... Or Cervantes...There are hookers out there in broad daylight. That goes on constantly and I WATCHED a city patrolman just drive on past them and sherrif's dept going past them. If the county wants to get picky about people and sex acts in Escambia and Santa Rosa... who defines it all? Does getting worked up at a strip club count? Are adult book stores to close? Are they going to go after the swingers parties (don't act like you all don't know how many swingers are in Pcola). Just so many little nit picky things the county can go after if they win this case against COHF. No matter how many times I edit this for spelling it is going to be wrong...I am tired... work bit. Nite all. Watch your butt, they may be peekin into your bedroom to make sure you are doing it missionary and for procreation only.

| you've got to be kidding...i'm curious what were
the illegal drugs? maybe it was the little blue pill.... i would almost bet the judge has his own porn collection at home... hopefully, it's starring adults. but, these days our community leaders are very misleading. good luck guys......BTW, love the website! maybe the judge should Google "The Miller Test of 1973"

| Good morning to you, too, Jack. Yeah, ol Ronnie Mac
is funny about which sex 'laws' he chooses to enforce; Deputy Mindy Vlack
finger rapes two juveniles in public, the people of Escambia County have
to cough up tens of thousands of dollars to settle the claims, and yet
Vlack doesn't go to jail - or even get fired, or suspended, or
disciplined.....maybe because they didn't film it ? Yeah, that's the
ticket, it was OK because they didn't film it. I knew there had to be a reason.... And Diane, Russ Edgar makes up the laws as he sees fit; always has, and always will until some stops him and makes Escambia County join the rest of America. randy2331, have to disagree with you buddy - like Diane says, it ain't illegal.... Forced to agree with you on this one, blueman.
